In May 2006, a group of active and caring people from the village of Mathur asked us to help provide an education for their children.

The location of this village is rather secluded which led to the fact that hardly any of the 1000 inhabitants can write or read. Most of them work as day laborers on construction sites or in fields. Virtually all of them are malnourished.
